A save holds your generated league, your club and your moves, nothing else about you. See the Privacy Policy for what happens to what you send.
Steam: the game saves after every move. It keeps the save on your computer and copies it to a saves folder, on Windows %APPDATA%\PENNANT\saves. If Steam Cloud is on for PENNANT, Steam keeps a copy of that folder too.
iPhone: the app saves as you play, in its own storage on your phone. Deleting the app deletes the save and your Hall of Owners record.
No. PENNANT keeps one save and writes it after every move, so the trade your GM talked you into stays made. On Steam, Export save at the bottom of the sidebar writes the save to a file you can keep, and Import a save on the start screen loads one back if something goes wrong.
Steam: press New owner life at the bottom of the sidebar, then Sell up and start a new owner life.
iPhone: on the Desk, tap the gear for Settings, then Sell the club, then Sell up and start a new owner life.
The club's era goes into the Hall of Owners with your record and badges, and the run ends. There is no undo. In Classic, if the board's sale vote is already counting down, selling also pays the board's clawback, and the screen shows the amount before you confirm.
No. The iPhone app and the Steam game keep separate saves and separate Halls of Owners. A save on your phone stays on your phone, and a Steam save stays on your computer and in Steam Cloud. There is no account that links them, and no way to move a save from one to the other.
With Steam Cloud on for PENNANT, Steam copies your saves folder between computers. Quit the game on one computer before you start it on the other.
No. Both versions play offline. The iPhone app never connects on its own, and the Steam game talks only to the Steam client on your computer, for achievements.
No. On iPhone, The Pariah is the hardest job in the game and nothing more. Naming the League Championship trophy belongs to the Steam game.
The Steam game tells you the day you win it. Take three screenshots (that October's bracket, the History page and your owner card), press Export save, and send the screenshots and the save file to pennantsportsgame@gmail.com. The earliest verified claim takes it.
No. PENNANT has no licenses and no real rosters. Every club, player and season is generated, so every story is your own.
Purchases go through the store you bought from. On Steam, use Steam Support. On the App Store, use Apple's Report a Problem page.
